Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Engineer based in Manila, Philippines, to join its global design consultancy team delivering highways projects for Australia. The role focuses on managing technical aspects of smaller tasks, coordinating small multi-discipline teams, and ensuring quality, safety and delivery within time and budget.

Strong drainage design experience and proficiency in industry software are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent and formally licensed to act as a professional engineer (if required in their Arcadis GEC country)
Excellent written and oral English language
Possess 5-10 years of relevant professional experience
Strong drainage design experience in using Australian standards/codes, NSW Roads and Maritime Standards and specifications; experience in VIC and RMS will be highly regarded
Demonstrated experience of working independently and the ability to work in a complex, challenging environment
Proficient in Design Software (eg 12D, Storm and Sanitary, HEC-RAS, MUSIC)
Knowledgeable in AutoCAD or similar
Local or Expatriate

Responsibilities

Manage technical aspects of smaller tasks or components of larger tasks within a single discipline
Coordinate and manage small teams of engineers and technicians
Provide management and technical advice to junior project team members
Assist with budgets, progress monitoring, and forecasting for tasks
Drive task performance, service delivery and outcomes while ensuring compliance with standards
