Job summary

Full Scale is a Philippine-based tech services company helping businesses build dedicated software teams. We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to own the delivery pipeline and runtime health for a US-based client in an automotive retail platform.

The role is remote and you will work with an AWS Architect and a Data Scientist to ensure shippable, monitorable, and recoverable services. The platform is serverless-first, GitOps-driven, and designed for scale.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a DevOps/SRE or Platform Engineering role with production ownership.
• Hands-on AWS experience—Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, S3, Aurora, VPC, IAM.
• Strong Terraform or OpenTofu skills; Terragrunt experience preferred.
• Proven CI/CD ownership with GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, or equivalent.
• Container fluency: Docker and Kubernetes on EKS (Fargate or managed nodes).
• Scripting in Python and/or Node.js to build real tooling.
• Observability experience: designing trusted alerts and monitoring.
• PCI DSS or similar compliance exposure.

Responsibilities

• Own and extend the GitOps deployment model across environments and accounts.
• Maintain deployment pipelines for Lambda, API Gateway, and container workloads on EKS/ECR.
• Implement progressive delivery with canary/blue‑green releases and feature flags.
• Manage mobile/kiosk beam deployment pipelines and frontend assets.
• Own the observability stack (CloudWatch, X-Ray, logging, metrics, alerts).
• Define and instrument SLOs for the call-intelligence path.
• Lead incident response and blameless post-incident reviews.
• Optimize security tooling and secrets management across services.
