Job summary

FPT Latin America is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to design, build, and enhance vehicle services software for a major US automotive client. You will work across three shores—US, LATAM, and Vietnam—using AI-assisted tools to accelerate development.

The role emphasizes end-to-end ownership, cloud-native patterns on AWS, and collaboration with global teams. Strong Java, Spring Boot, React, and AWS experience is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proven experience delivering full-stack applications end-to-end, from conception through production support.
• BS/BA in Computer Science or related field, or 7 years of industry experience in lieu of a degree; MS in Computer Science with 2+ years of experience is acceptable.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate technical decisions clearly.
• Comfortable working independently and taking ownership in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work across multiple time zones.
• Curiosity and openness toward new technologies and AI-assisted development.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain full-stack applications using Java/Spring Boot and ReactJS.
• Contribute to cloud-native architecture and engineering practices on AWS.
• Own features end-to-end from design to production support.
• Develop scalable, reliable, and high-performing solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, retrospectives, and Agile/Scrum practices.
• Collaborate across US, Mexico/LATAM, and Vietnam teams.
• Take ownership of unit, integration, and E2E testing (no dedicated QA).
• Use GitHub Copilot, Spec Kit, or equivalent AI coding assistants for code generation, reviews, and test authoring.
• Contribute to AI integration and orchestration patterns, including LLM-based components.
• Pair with engineers to solve complex challenges and communicate decisions clearly.
