Job summary

JoyRide Superapp is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to own and drive infrastructure, accelerating release lifecycles and building a robust CI/CD pipeline. This remote role lets you impact multiple tech areas while collaborating with the Head of Software Engineering.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on AWS or GCP, Linux, networking, Docker and Kubernetes, plus experience leading engineers and shaping deployment standards in a lean startup environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on AWS or GCP with Linux systems configuration.
• Networking and infrastructure components like ELB.
• Familiarity with log/trace monitoring and observability tools.
• Strong background in Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience in configuration, provisioning, and production deployment.
• Proven track record of CD through to production and leading engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical implementation and architecture of software products.
• Design and develop infrastructure and architectural designs.
• Stay abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages.
• Contribute to team growth by mentoring engineers and refining processes.
• Continuously improve internal standards through code review and best practices.
