Job summary

RingCentral is seeking a Senior Manager of Data Engineering to lead a team building and scaling the revenue data mart that powers finance, sales, and executive reporting. You will set technical direction, mentor engineers across levels, and partner with Finance, Revenue Operations, Analytics, and Product to ensure accurate, timely data delivery.

You will own data pipelines spanning Hadoop, Oracle, Snowflake, AWS S3, and PostgreSQL, collaborating with BI tools (Tableau, Sigma) and business

Qualifications

• 10+ years in data engineering, with 3+ years in a management/leadership role.
• Hands-on with Hadoop, Oracle, Snowflake, AWS S3, and PostgreSQL.
• Experience building data marts/warehouses supporting finance or revenue use cases.
• Strong ETL/ELT, dimensional modeling, and orchestration (Airflow).
• Python for data pipelines; cloud data architecture on AWS.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of data engineers across experience levels.
• Own the revenue data mart strategy, roadmap, and delivery.
• Architect and oversee data pipelines across on-prem and cloud environments.
• Ensure reliable data integration with Marketo, Salesforce, Anaplan, NetSuite.
• Collaborate with BI to structure data for Tableau/Sigma reporting.
• Apply ML/AI techniques to improve pipeline reliability and insights.
• Champion data governance, security, and SOX considerations.
• Manage sprint planning, prioritization, and delivery in an Agile context.
• Communicate progress and risks to senior leadership.
