Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, cable schedules, BOMs and assembly drawings.
• Verify electrical wiring, connections, terminals, connectors and components against engineering requirements.
• Troubleshoot electrical and wiring issues during production and assist operators and technicians in resolving problems.
• Support NPI, prototype builds, engineering changes and production transfer.
• Develop and improve work instructions, assembly procedures and electrical test procedures.
• Work closely with Production, QA and customers to resolve technical and manufacturing issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions for production problems.
• Support electrical testing, continuity checks, functional testing and troubleshooting of finished assemblies.
• Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes, reduce defects and improve production efficiency.

About the role

About you

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering.
• At least 5 years' experience in electrical panel assembly, wiring, control panels, industrial equipment, electronics manufacturing or similar environments.
• Able to read and understand electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Good understanding of electrical components, wiring, connectors, terminals and electrical circuits.
• Hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in an EMS, contract manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
• Able to work independently as well as with cross-functional teams.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
