JEBSEN-PTC MARITIME, INC. is seeking a Chief Officer (Container) for a worldwide service on the HAZIRA EXPRESS container ship. The role requires 9 months of prior Chief Officer experience on container vessels and a valid US visa, with joining date in November.

The position includes steering the vessel's stability, overseeing deck crew, cargo operations, and adherence to IMSBC, IMDG and ISGOTT safety standards. Open to Manila-based or global crew, with competitive remuneration.

Qualifications

• 9 months as Chief Officer on container vessel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cargo operations and vessel stability during loading, transit and discharging.
• Manage deck operations, maintenance of hull, deck machinery, anchor gear and mooring systems.
• Plan and execute cargo loading, stowage, securing and ballast operations per IMSBC/IMDG/ISGOTT.
