Job summary

Pearson is seeking an Advanced Associate, Compensation to manage Tier 2 administrative transactions in Fusion, ensuring timely and accurate processing in line with performance standards.

Reporting to the Compensation Manager, you will analyze compensation data, prepare reports and dashboards, and support HR operations across borders, including UK time zones. The role requires a bachelor’s in HR or related field and 2–3 years of experience with Oracle and ticketing systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Admin, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2-3 years in Compensation & Benefits administration.
• Experience with Oracle and ticketing systems.

Responsibilities

• Provides Tier 2 support for simple to complex HR requests from Pearson employees, former employees, and vendors.
• Processes HR transactions in Fusion and other HR technologies.
• Resolves HR process questions and colleague issues beyond Tier 1 support.
• Uses knowledge management to complete inquiries and transactions.
• Works to meet service levels and performance goals.
• Escalates client service issues as needed.
• Documents all cases in the case management system.
• Ensures HR policy compliance and legal requirements are followed.
• Demonstrates empathy and clear communication with colleagues.
• Supports change programs and HR operations training.
• Participates in training and employee engagement initiatives.
• Performs special projects and daily service operations tasks.
• Achieves personal performance targets with the Team Lead.
• Analyzes compensation data for trends, pay gaps, and improvements.
• Prepares recurring and ad hoc compensation reports and dashboards.
• Conducts demographic and positioning analyses to support planning.
• Performs data quality reviews of compensation data in HR systems.
