Job summary

Pearson Philippines is seeking an Advanced Associate, Payroll to manage end-to-end payroll activities, process cycles accurately and on schedule, and assist with benefits and tax tasks as needed.

You will run HR interface files, verify payroll input, perform data checks, resolve payroll queries, and collaborate with Benefits and other internal teams to stay updated on pay changes while maintaining strict confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates with 0–2 years' payroll experience.
• Hands-on experience with HRIS and payroll systems.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent MS Word, Excel, Access, and internet skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in end-to-end payroll processing ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Run interface files from the HR system and upload them to the payroll system.
• Assist in checking payroll input for data entry accuracy and make adjustments.
• Conduct analysis and research related to payroll processing.
• Process off-cycle and special payroll requests.
• Address payroll queries via MyHR or email professionally and promptly.
• Engage with internal stakeholders to gather updates impacting pay.
• Maintain employee payroll files and archive them for audit compliance.
• Ensure confidentiality of personal data and comply with legal guidelines.
• Identify ways to improve and enhance HR administrative services.
• Maintain high customer service standards.
