Job summary

Infinity 88 Business Consultancy in Metro Manila is seeking a Lead Civil Engineer to supervise civil engineering and construction activities from planning through completion. You will review drawings, coordinate with contractors and stakeholders, monitor progress and costs, and ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise civil engineering and construction activities from planning through completion.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, plans, specifications, designs, and project requirements.
• Manage site activities and ensure works align with approved plans, schedules and specs.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and project teams to resolve issues.
• Monitor project progress, manpower, materials, equipment, and schedules.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with quality, safety, environmental, and engineering standards.
• Review and evaluate contractors’ work, method statements, and technical documents.
• Identify potential construction issues and recommend cost-effective solutions.
• Prepare and review technical reports, progress reports, and quantity estimates.
• Monitor project costs and assist in keeping civil works within budget and timeline.
• Ensure quality control and inspection procedures for civil and structural works.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, punch listing, rectification, and close-out activities.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers, supervisors, and site personnel.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, engineering standards, permits, and regulatory requirements.
• Perform other engineering and project-related duties as assigned.
