Job summary

Newcore Industries International Inc in the Philippines is seeking a Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering Lead to provide technical leadership and oversee multi-disciplinary engineering activities across civil, structural, and architectural scopes. You will review designs, coordinate with PMs and contractors, ensure codes, standards, and project specs are met, and mentor engineers and designers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Licensed Civil Engineer or Registered/Licensed Architect is preferred.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in civil, structural, architectural engineering, design, or construction.
• Preferably with experience in a lead, supervisory, or senior engineering role.
• Strong knowledge of engineering design, construction practices, and applicable building codes and standards.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and other engineering/design software.
• Knowledge of Revit, STAAD.Pro, ETABS, Tekla, or similar software
• Strong technical, analytical, problem-solving, and project coordination skills.
• Good leadership and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple project requirements.
• Willing to work on-site and travel to project locations when required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee civil, structural, and architectural engineering activities.
• Review engineering designs, calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Provide technical guidance and solutions for engineering and construction-related concerns.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications.
• Coordinate civil, structural, architectural, MEP, and other engineering disciplines.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders.
• Provide technical support during construction and resolve site-related engineering issues.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical submissions.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure construction works follow approved designs.
• Monitor engineering deliverables and ensure timely submission of technical documents.
• Identify technical risks and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Lead and mentor engineers, designers, and other technical personnel.
• Perform other engineering and project-related tasks as assigned.
