About the role
The Civil Engineer / Project Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing civil and construction projects to ensure they are completed safely, efficiently, on time, within budget, and in accordance with approved plans, specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Plans, coordinates, and monitors civil and construction projects from start to completion.
- Reviews project plans, drawings, specifications, scope of work, and technical documents.
- Supervises and monitors construction activities to ensure proper execution and timely completion.
- Conducts regular site inspections and monitors work quality, materials, manpower, and equipment.
- Coordinates with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, clients, and internal teams.
- Ensures construction works comply with approved plans, specifications, engineering standards, and applicable regulations.
- Identifies technical issues, project risks, delays, and site concerns and recommends appropriate solutions.
- Monitors project schedules, costs, resources, and overall project progress.
- Prepares and maintains project reports, inspection records, progress reports, and other required documentation.
- Coordinates required permits, inspections, testing, approvals, and regulatory requirements.

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Licensed Civil Engineer preferred.
