Job summary

SEAS Philippines Inc. is seeking a field/site engineer to oversee construction progress, ensuring work aligns with approved plans and standards. You will coordinate with architects, contractors, and project teams to review technical submittals and resolve design issues on site.

The role involves assisting in schedules, reports, and documentation, ensuring safety and quality compliance, and supporting project implementation from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections to monitor construction progress and verify that work conforms to approved plans, specifications, and engineering standards.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, project managers, suppliers, and other engineering disciplines.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and other technical documents.
• Identify design conflicts, site issues, and construction discrepancies and recommend appropriate engineering solutions.
• Assist in preparing project schedules, progress reports, inspection reports, and other project documentation.
• Ensure that engineering works comply with applicable building codes, safety requirements, project specifications, and company standards.
• Provide technical support and recommendations during construction and project implementation.
• Monitor the quality of materials and workmanship and coordinate corrective actions when necessary.
• Participate in meetings, inspections, testing, commissioning, and project coordination activities.
• Maintain accurate engineering records, calculations, drawings, revisions, and project documentation.
• Perform other engineering duties and responsibilities related to the project as assigned.
