Job summary

MicroSourcing is hiring a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst in Libis, Quezon City. This onsite role focuses on designing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and data solutions, automating reports, and ensuring data quality across finance, sales, and operations.

You will build robust ETL processes, work with relational and cloud databases, and translate complex data into actionable insights while collaborating with diverse teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years in BI/Data Analytics or similar field.
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including DAX and Power Query.
• Strong SQL skills for data extraction, transformation and management.
• Bachelor's degree or Certification in Data Analytics, IT, CS, or related field.
• Experience with relational and cloud-based databases to join data from multiple sources.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced data wrangling including acquisition, merging and cleaning for visualization.

Your Role:

As a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst, you will:

• Design and maintain automated dashboards and integrated data solutions using Power BI and the Microsoft Power Platform.
• Automate reporting processes to improve operational efficiency, data accuracy, and system performance.
• Perform advanced data wrangling, including acquisition, merging, and cleaning, to prepare complex datasets for visualization.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across finance, sales, and operations to gather, document, and validate reporting requirements.
• Implement robust ETL processes and reusable semantic models using SQL queries, stored procedures, and views.
  

What You Need:

Non-negotiables

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or a similar field.
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including expert-level use of DAX and Power Query.
• Strong SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and management.
• Bachelor's degree or Certification in Data Analytics, IT, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Proven ability to work with relational and cloud-based databases to join data from multiple sources.

Preferred skills/expertise

• Expertise in Microsoft Power Platform for building integrated business solutions.
• Advanced Excel skills, specifically for performing complex data reconciliations and workbook management.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical findings for non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to recommend data-driven solutions for business issues.
• Experience in data governance, including the creation of report documentation and data glossaries.
