Job summary

ZigZag is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our APAC team and lead the Business Analyst function within Product. You will translate business needs into clear requirements for engineering, ensuring solutions deliver real customer and commercial value across the globe.

Sitting between commercial stakeholders and engineering, you will drive data-informed decisions, model processes, and help shape our fintech product roadmap with a customer-first mindset.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a Business Analyst or similar role, preferably in financial services or digital business.
• Ability to bridge business and technology, translating needs into technical requirements.
• Academic qualifications in Computing, Business, Economics, Finance or related field.
• Experience with data reporting tools such as Looker, Tableau, SQL.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary link between commercial, operational, and technical teams to align goals.
• Elicit, analyse and document business requirements; translate into functional specs and user stories.
• Map processes and data flows to expose gaps and opportunities for improvement.
• Translate technical concepts into plain business language for informed decisions.
• Facilitate alignment between stakeholders and engineers and manage scope and priorities.
• Build product knowledge and lead analysis across technical, financial and commercial topics.
• Develop robust business cases and support pricing and roadmap decisions.
• Lead and mentor the BA team within Product to raise analytical quality and delivery standards.
