Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Maintenance Sr. Technician to maintain medium to large buildings, industrial systems, and equipment. The role supports preventive maintenance, repairs, and energy management across building systems, ensuring compliance with codes and safety standards.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, performing repairs, installing equipment changes, and coordinating work orders while adhering to CBRE RISE values and established procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 2-3 years of job-related experience.
• Meet physical requirements including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting 50 lbs.
• Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
• Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
• Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Assign work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs.
• Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
• Inspect new installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Have some knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience in applying them.
• Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
• Impact the quality of own work.
• Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
• Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.
