Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service small to medium-sized buildings and industrial systems. You will perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs, ensuring equipment operates reliably.

This role supports energy management, safety compliance, and collaboration with the engineering team. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of related experience and physical ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1–2 years of job-related experience.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more and meet physical requirements.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards.
• Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose problems, and perform repairs.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review work orders and track completion with available systems.
• Support energy management by ensuring building systems operate efficiently.
• Inspect installations for compliance with codes and safety regulations.
• Follow defined procedures to solve straightforward problems and communicate clearly.
• Impact team with defined duties and tasks under supervision.
• Deliver output by following procedures and processes.
