Job summary

SMDC is seeking a Registered Electrical Engineer to oversee the operation and maintenance of building systems, facilities, and equipment at multiple project sites.

The role requires at least five years in building facilities management, plus strong customer service, communication, and computer skills. The engineer will lead technical staff, coordinate with service providers, and ensure adherence to safety and SLA standards.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in Building Facilities and Equipment Management.
• Strong customer service, communication, and computer skills.
• Decisive and has an eye for details.
• Efficient and trustworthy.

Responsibilities

• Participate in testing and commissioning and punchlisting of building equipment and systems and common area.
• Attend Project Technical Group meetings to provide inputs and raise operational concerns.
• Establish and update equipment database.
• Create a 52 week Comprehensive Preventive Maintenance Calendar.
• Create the Technical Profile of the Building.
• Facilitate screening and acquisition of Multi-skilled Technicians for the Project.
• Consolidate equipment permits and licenses.
