Job summary

SMDC seeks a Registered Electrical or Mechanical Engineer to oversee the operation and maintenance of building systems and equipment in our Quezon City project. You will manage the maintenance program, supervise technicians, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

You will coordinate with residents, utility providers, and service contractors, prepare monthly reports and budgets (OPEX/CAPEX), and drive energy-saving initiatives while maintaining service level agreements

Qualifications

• Must be a registered Electrical or Mechanical Engineer.
• Minimum 2 years relevant working experience.
• Knowledgeable in Building Facilities and Equipment Management.
• Strong customer service, communication, and computer skills.
• Decisive with high attention to detail.
• Efficient and trustworthy; capable of working in a team or independently.

Responsibilities

• Participate in testing, commissioning, and punchlisting of building equipment and systems.
• Attend meetings to provide inputs and raise operational concerns.
• Establish and update equipment database.
• Create a 52-week preventive maintenance calendar.
• Create the technical profile of the building.
• Screen and acquire multi-skilled technicians for the project.
• Consolidate equipment permits and licenses.
• Supervise and manage shift engineers and technicians for maintenance.
• Oversee operations of all systems in common areas and facilities.
• Prepare maintenance programs for MEP, utilities, and related systems.
• Maintain technical records, manuals, and turnover documents.
• Recommend upgrades and energy-saving initiatives.
• Ensure renewal of permits and licenses.
• Assist in budgeting (OPEX and CAPEX).
• Coordinate with service providers and ensure SLA compliance.
• Coordinate with utilities to ensure service levels.
• Provide incident reports and monthly engineering reports.
