Job summary

SMDC is seeking a Registered Electrical Engineer to ensure proper, cost-effective operation and maintenance of building systems, facilities, and equipment across residential projects. The role emphasizes maintenance planning, safety, and timely project execution.

Lead a team of technicians, coordinate with contractors, and prepare reports while monitoring energy use and service levels to meet SLA expectations. Pasay, QC or Makati assignments with urgency and customer focus.

Qualifications

• Registered Electrical Engineer with at least 5 years of experience in Building Facilities and Equipment Management.
• Strong customer service, communication and computer skills.
• Decisive with an eye for detail; efficient and trustworthy.
• Able to work well in a team or on own initiative; good organizational skills.
• Willing to be assigned in Pasay, Quezon City or Makati.

Responsibilities

• Participate in testing and commissioning and punchlisting of building equipment and systems and common area.
• Attend meetings to provide inputs and raise operational concerns.
• Establish and update equipment database; create a 52 week preventive maintenance calendar.
• Create the Technical Profile of the Building; screen and assign multi-skilled technicians.
• Supervise shift engineers and technical staff for routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance.
• Maintain and update engineering records, manuals, and as-built plans.
• Recommend upgrades and energy-saving initiatives; ensure permits and licenses are renewed.
• Prepare annual budget inputs; monitor materials, inventories, and service providers SLA.
• Coordinate with residents and utility providers; produce monthly engineering reports.
