Job summary

CBS China Bank Savings is seeking a Branch Service Officer to support the Branch Service Head in daily operations, ensuring policy compliance and strong internal controls. You will oversee clearing, end-of-day balancing, and transaction callbacks while supervising New Accounts operations and customer service at the counter.

The role requires a 4-year degree, 5+ years in branch banking operations, and in-depth knowledge of branch policies. Willingness to be assigned in Iba, Zambales is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be a college graduate of any 4-year course, preferably business course.
• At least 5 years experience in branch banking operations with exposure on new accounts, tellering and clearing operations.
• Extensive knowledge in bank policies and procedures for branch operations.
• Customer service oriented and able to supervise people.
• Will be assigned in Iba, Zambales.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Branch Service Head in overseeing day-to-day operations to ensure compliance with policies and internal controls.
• Primarily responsible for clearing operations and end-of-day balancing and callback of transactions; ensure books are balanced and updated.
• Supervise the New Accounts Section, overseeing customer servicing, new account openings, and other services at the New Accounts counter.
• Act as Control Officer and Unit Compliance Coordinator to implement an effective operation with minimal risks.
• Provide coaching and training of personnel and serve as reliever to BSH when needed.
