Job summary

HireBooth in Manila, Philippines is seeking a Bookkeeper to support full-cycle accounting and the month-end close. You will manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and basic reconciliations while reporting directly to the Staff Accountant.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field, 2–3 years of progressive accounting experience, and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables). Experience with QuickBooks Online or Xero and solid knowledge of GAAP are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• 2–3 years of progressive accounting experience including full-cycle close.
• Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online or Xero.
• Solid knowledge of GAAP and regulatory compliance standards.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close.
• Prepare and post journal entries including accruals and allocations.
• Assist with intercompany reconciliations and audit schedules.
• Help with variances identified during monthly budget-vs-actual analysis.
• Perform other duties and projects related to the role.
