Job summary

Booth in Manila is seeking a meticulous Bookkeeper to support full-cycle accounting and month-end close. You will manage AP/AR, post journal entries, and assist with reconciliations and audits, reporting to the Staff Accountant.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of progressive accounting experience, proficiency in Excel and cloud-based accounting software (QBO or Xero), and strong attention to detail and ethics. This role requires independence and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of progressive accounting experience including full-cycle close.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online or Xero and solid GAAP knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Full-Cycle Accounting: Manage AP, AR, and basic reconciliations.
• Close Processes: Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close.
• Journal Entries: Prepare and post manual entries including accruals and allocations.
• Reconciliations & Audits: Assist intercompany reconciliations and auditor schedules.
• Financial Analysis: Investigate variances in monthly budget vs. actuals.
• Ad-hoc Projects: Perform duties related to the role as assigned.
