Job summary

Citigroup Inc. in Manila is seeking a Senior Application Support Analyst to ensure stability and optimal performance of Citi's core business applications.

The role focuses on Incident/Problem Management in an ITIL framework with Unix/Linux, SQL, and Big Data/EAP expertise to drive automation and improve support workflows. You will own end-to-end production incident resolution, lead major incident triage, and collaborate with global teams to restore services while documenting RCAs and PIRs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Application/Production Support.
• Strong ITIL incident and problem management experience.
• Hands-on Unix/Linux and SQL experience.
• Experience with Big Data ecosystems (Hadoop, Spark) and EAP platforms.
• Experience with Autosys job scheduling.
• Experience with monitoring via ITRS Geneos.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 support for Big Data/EAP applications.
• Troubleshoot data pipelines and batch jobs.
• Monitor clusters and diagnose memory bottlenecks.
• Handle incident management and production recovery.
• Lead RCA and PIR documentation.
• Automate toil reduction with scripts.
