Job summary

Citibank (Switzerland) AG is seeking an experienced Senior Applications Support Analyst to ensure stability of core business apps. You will handle L2/L3 support for Big Data/EAP environments, troubleshoot data pipelines, monitor clusters, and manage Autosys-backed batch processing.

You will own incident management, problem management, and automation initiatives while working across Unix/Linux, SQL, and monitoring tools in a hybrid setup based in Taguig, Philippines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of dedicated Application/Production Support in a fast-paced enterprise.
• Strong ITIL Incident & Problem Management with proven resolution leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 support for Big Data/EAP applications.
• Troubleshoot data pipelines and distributed processing failures (Spark, Hadoop).
• Monitor clusters using tools like YARN, Cloudera Manager, and Hive/Impala.
• Manage data queries in distributed data stores (HDFS, Hive, Impala).
• Oversee Autosys batch executions; resolve job failures and optimize flows.
• Develop and modify JIL scripts for reliable scheduling and overrides.
• Lead incident triage and coordinate across global teams via ServiceNow.
• Create post-incident reviews and drive root cause remediation.
