D2B is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end Australian payroll for approximately 500 shift-based employees across multiple center locations. You will operate in a multi-entity environment with complex Modern Award structures and master Employment Hero configurations.

This independent contractor role aligns with AU business hours and requires a detail-oriented, agile professional who owns payroll accuracy, meets tight deadlines, and supports a growing offshore payroll team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of dedicated Australian payroll experience handling high-volume, multi-entity operations.
• Experience with Australian Modern Awards and complex pay conditions.
• Proficiency in Employment Hero configurations and workflows.
• Ability to manage EOFY year-end finalizations and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end weekly payroll processes for 10+ entities and 500+ shift-based employees.
• Interpret and execute payroll across Australian Modern Awards with complex variations.
• Review timesheets and adjust configurations in Employment Hero across sites.
• Perform EOFY finalizations and reconciliation reporting.
• Serve as main payroll contact for employee inquiries with timely resolutions.
• Collaborate with accountants to scale payroll processes for growth.
