We’re looking for another Philippines-based Payroll Specialist to join our managed payroll team, working under a hybrid model (MWF onsite at the Clark, Pampanga office; and TTH at home), and supporting our Australian and New Zealand managed payroll clients.
Australian and New Zealand payroll experience is essential. Employment Hero/KeyPay experience is strongly desirable.
The role will involve:
Processing end-to-end payroll across Australian and NZ clients.
Managing new starters, leave, adjustments, deductions, terminations and final payments.
Completing payroll reconciliations and statutory reporting.
Responding to client queries and investigating payroll discrepancies.
Supporting payroll implementations, migrations and testing, with training provided where needed.
What we’re looking for
Practical, hands-on experience independently processing payroll in both Australia and New Zealand.
Sound understanding of Australian awards, employment conditions, PAYG, superannuation and STP.
Sound understanding of NZ payroll requirements, including PAYE, KiwiSaver, and holiday and leave calculations.
Strong attention to detail, Excel skills and clear communication.
Confidence working directly with clients and managing competing payroll deadlines.
Employment Hero/KeyPay experience would be a strong advantage, as would experience in a bureau or managed payroll environment supporting multiple clients.
The role will also involve running variance reports, and analyzing data and challenging payroll results. The successful candidate should also be comfortable seeking guidance and suggesting solutions when needed. The candidate must also be flexible in learning new processes and adjusting to policy changes to comply with the latest laws and policies in payroll in both AU and NZ regions.
