Job summary

TGT GLOBAL is seeking a Senior Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day bookkeeping and month-end reporting for Australian clients while supporting junior teammates. You will handle AP, AR, reconciliations, payroll, and cloud-based accounting systems, helping ensure accurate, timely financials.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of Australian bookkeeping or accounting support experience.
• End-to-end bookkeeping for Australian clients.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial flows.
• Experience with cloud-based accounting platforms (Xero, QuickBooks Online).
• Experience with AP/AR and bank reconciliations.
• Experience preparing weekly/monthly financial and management reports.
• Month-end and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities for Australian clients.
• Process and reconcile AP/AR transactions.
• Ensure invoices, receipts, payments, and financial records are accurate.
• Review cloud-based documentation systems such as Dext or Hubdoc.
• Provide weekly/monthly reports and assist with cash flow forecasting.
• Assist with payroll processing and compliance.
• Support junior team members and contribute to process improvements.
• Collaborate with Account Managers, clients, and the wider team.
