Baldo Construction and Development Corporation in Daraga, Albay invites a licensed Architect to lead architectural design for resort development projects. The role requires 7–10 years of experience and deep knowledge of design development, construction documentation, and site coordination to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.

Bachelor's Degree in Architecture.
Licensed Architect (PRC).
At least 7–10 years of relevant experience in architectural design, construction, or project management.
Experience in resort, hospitality, commercial, residential, or large-scale building projects is highly preferred.
Strong experience in design development, construction documentation, and site coordination.
Knowledge of Philippine building codes, permitting requirements, construction standards, and architectural practices.
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, detailing, and project coordination.
Willing to be based in or deployed to Daraga, Albay.
Candidates with experience in resort, hotel, tourism, hospitality, or mixed-use development projects are highly encouraged to apply. Experience in projects involving multiple buildings, recreational facilities, landscape areas, amenities, and site development works is an advantage.
Lead the preparation, development, and review of architectural designs, plans, drawings, details, and specifications for resort development projects.
Develop architectural concepts that are functional, aesthetically appropriate, sustainable, and aligned with the overall resort development vision.
Review and coordinate architectural, structural, MEPF, civil, landscape, and other technical drawings to ensure design consistency and minimize clashes.
Oversee the preparation and checking of working drawings, shop drawings, material submittals, samples, and technical documents.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor architectural works and ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications, and quality standards.
Provide technical direction and resolve architectural issues encountered during construction.
Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and project engineers regarding design and construction requirements.
Review RFIs, material submittals, shop drawings, method statements, and architectural technical submissions.
Monitor project progress and provide recommendations to ensure architectural works remain within the approved schedule, budget, and quality requirements.
Ensure compliance with applicable National Building Code of the Philippines, local building regulations, accessibility requirements, fire and life safety provisions, and other relevant standards.
Assist in securing and coordinating requirements for permits, approvals, inspections, and regulatory submissions.
Review proposed design changes and assess their impact on cost, schedule, quality, and constructability.
Participate in project meetings and provide updates on architectural design and construction concerns.
Coordinate with clients and management regarding design requirements, revisions, project standards, and project development objectives.
Guide and review the work of junior architects, draftsmen, and other design personnel.
Maintain proper documentation and records of approved drawings, revisions, site instructions, and architectural decisions.
Conduct punch listing and assist in the inspection and acceptance of completed architectural works.
Perform other duties related to architectural design, project development, and construction as may be assigned by management.
