Job summary

Polarr Azanje Construction Inc. is seeking an Architect to lead design development, coordinate project delivery, and oversee on-site construction activities. You will prepare and update drawings and specifications while ensuring compliance with codes and project requirements.

The role requires 3-5 years of relevant experience, proficiency in AutoCAD, and familiarity with Philippines building codes. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for successful collaboration with PMs,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture.
• Licensed Architect (PRC) is preferred.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in architectural design, construction, and/or project coordination.
• Experience in construction site supervision and implementation is an advantage.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, or other architectural software is an advantage.
• Knowledge of construction materials, methods, detailing, and architectural specifications.
• Familiarity with the National Building Code of the Philippines and applicable regulations.
• Strong communication, coordination, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Able to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate architectural works from design development through project implementation and turnover.
• Prepare, review, and update architectural plans, detailed drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Monitor architectural works on-site to ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager, Site Engineers, QA/QC, MEPF/Structural teams, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and clients.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, samples, and proposed architectural changes.
• Conduct regular site inspections and identify design, quality, and construction-related issues.
• Provide technical clarifications and recommend solutions to architectural and construction concerns.
• Monitor project progress, architectural deliverables, and required documentation.
• Assist in preparation and review of punch lists, as-built drawings, and project turnover documents.
• Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, safety requirements, environmental requirements, and company/IMS procedures.
• Maintain proper documentation and control of architectural drawings, revisions, and project records.
• Perform other architectural and project-related duties as assigned.
