About the role
The Project Architect is responsible for leading the planning, design, coordination, documentation, and implementation of architectural projects from concept through completion. The position requires strong technical and project management capabilities, with the ability to coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, engineers, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams. The Project Architect shall ensure that projects are delivered in accordance with approved designs, specifications, quality standards, budget, schedule, and applicable Philippine laws and regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the preparation, development, and coordination of architectural designs, drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
- Ensure all architectural designs comply with the National Building Code of the Philippines, local building ordinances, Fire Code, accessibility requirements, and other applicable regulations.
- Review architectural details, materials, finishes, and construction methods to ensure design intent and technical requirements are achieved.
- Coordinate architectural requirements with structural, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, and other consultants.
- Lead and coordinate architectural activities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor and implement the approved project schedule, milestones, and budget.
- Conduct regular site inspections and monitor construction progress.
- Ensure that construction works are implemented in accordance with approved plans, specifications, and design intent.
- Guide and mentor junior architects, designers, CAD personnel, and other project team members.
- Assist in securing necessary permits, clearances, approvals, and other regulatory requirements.
About you
- PRC-Licensed Architect in the Philippines.
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 1 year relevant experience in architectural design, project coordination, construction, or site/project management.
- Strong knowledge of National Building Code of the Philippines, Philippine Fire Code, accessibility requirements, local building ordinances, construction methods and materials, architectural detailing and documentation, and fit-out and construction processes.
- Proficient in relevant architectural and design software, preferably AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Lumion, V-Ray, 3D Studio Max, Adobe Creative Suite, or other relevant design and presentation software.
- Strong technical, design, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced project environment.
