Job summary

Private Advertiser seeks a Project Architect to lead design, coordination, and documentation from concept to completion. You will ensure compliance with Philippine codes, supervise site progress, and mentor junior staff while coordinating with consultants and clients.

The role requires a PRC-licensed architect, a relevant bachelor's degree, and at least 1 year of architectural project experience. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and related tools is essential for design delivery.

Qualifications

• PRC-licensed Architect in the Philippines.
• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 1 year relevant experience in architectural design, project coordination, construction, or site/project management.
• Strong knowledge of the National Building Code of the Philippines, Fire Code, accessibility requirements, local building ordinances, construction methods and materials, and documentation.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Lumion, V-Ray, 3ds Max, Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools.
• Strong technical, design, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation, development, and coordination of architectural designs, drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Ensure designs comply with NBC Philippines, Fire Code, accessibility requirements, and local regulations.
• Review details, materials, finishes, and construction methods to meet design intent and technical requirements.
• Coordinate architectural requirements with structural, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and other consultants.
• Lead and coordinate architectural activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor and implement the approved project schedule, milestones, and budget.
• Conduct regular site inspections and monitor construction progress.
• Ensure construction aligns with approved plans and design intent.
• Guide and mentor junior architects, designers, CAD personnel, and team members.
• Assist in securing permits, clearances, approvals, and regulatory requirements.

About the role

The Project Architect is responsible for leading the planning, design, coordination, documentation, and implementation of architectural projects from concept through completion. The position requires strong technical and project management capabilities, with the ability to coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, engineers, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams. The Project Architect shall ensure that projects are delivered in accordance with approved designs, specifications, quality standards, budget, schedule, and applicable Philippine laws and regulations.
