Job summary

iSupport Worldwide is seeking a Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist (Retail & Distributor Collections) to manage AR activities for retail and distributor accounts, including invoicing, cash application, reconciliations, and collections. You will support cash forecasting, month-end close, and cross-functional resolution of payment issues.

Key duties include ageing reviews, ensuring accurate invoicing, researching deductions, and applying payments across NetSuite and SPS Commerce portals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounts receivable, credit and collections experience in consumer products or similar retail/distributor environment.
• Experience managing AR for major US retailers and distributors.
• Experience researching retailer deductions, chargebacks, short payments, pricing discrepancies, and other payment issues.
• Experience preparing AR ageing reports and supporting cash forecasting for management reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day AR activities for assigned retail and distributor accounts including invoicing, cash application, reconciliations and collections.
• Monitor ageing and proactively follow up on past-due balances and unresolved items.
• Lead weekly and monthly AR ageing reviews to support cash forecasting and management reporting.
• Ensure invoices are issued accurately and payments, credits, deductions are applied correctly.
• Investigate overdue invoices, unapplied cash, and payment discrepancies and provide real-time status updates.
• Research, validate, and resolve deductions, chargebacks, returns, and payment variances.
