Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking an Airline Field Service Engineer to serve as the on-site technical representative embedded with customer fleets. Qualifications

• Bachelor's of Engineering or technical degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with extensive field experience).
• Minimum of 4 years of full-time experience in airline operations, powerplant, maintenance planning, propulsion, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead programs and provide technical direction and assistance to customers in operation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of jet engine product lines.
• Deliver prompt, effective solutions that address customer issues and drive loyalty.
• Track reliability and on-wing performance, including events, removals, delays, and cancellations.
• Influence long-term maintenance planning to ensure fleet stability.
• Interpret OEM and technical manuals to support maintenance and operations.
• Review maintenance actions to identify training and improvement opportunities.
• Apply FLIGHT DECK principles to drive proactive reliability improvements.
• Produce data analytics and timely fleet/status reports for internal stakeholders.
• Provide recommendations for proactive maintenance based on engine performance analytics.
