Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our remote Commercial Field Service team. You will be the on-site technical representative, traveling to customer sites to deliver outstanding service, maintenance, and problem resolution for jet engine product lines.

Based in the Philippines, the role emphasizes independent work, strong communication, and proactive reliability improvements while aligning with SQDC principles and our focus on safe, sustainable flight.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent with 4+ years in airline ops, powerplant, or maintenance planning.
Experience in propulsion or engine maintenance and interpreting OEM manuals.

Responsibilities

Lead programs and provide technical direction for engine operation, inspection, maintenance, and repair.
Deliver prompt, effective solutions addressing customer issues and loyalty.
Track engine reliability and on-wing performance, track events, removals, delays.
Influence long-term maintenance planning for fleet stability.
Interpret OEM/technical manuals to support maintenance and ops.
Review maintenance actions to identify improvement opportunities.
Produce data analytics and fleet status reports for stakeholders.
Provide proactive maintenance recommendations based on engine performance data.
