Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical or Acoustics Engineering or related field.
Minimum of 3 years in a high-technology engineering environment with demonstrated project execution.
Fundamental knowledge in Structural Dynamics, Rotor Dynamics, Vibrations and Acoustics.
Experience with experimental techniques and statistical data analysis for vibration, natural frequency or acoustics.

Responsibilities

Simulate and analyse high-speed rotor behaviour using modelling tools like ANSYS or MATLAB.
Design and conduct vibration tests with accelerometers and laser vibrometers.
Diagnose acoustic issues in high-speed electric motors and propose design changes.
Work with motor control, mechanical, and acoustic engineers to meet performance standards.
Research and apply noise and vibration reduction techniques and rotor dynamics methods.
Document analysis, findings, and recommendations for design and manufacturing teams.
