Job summary

Dyson Philippines is seeking an experienced CFD/thermals engineer within the Technology Systems group to lead fluid dynamics and thermodynamics analyses for consumer electrical appliances. This role centers on developing advanced CFD models, interpreting results, and guiding product iterations to optimize performance.

You will develop high-fidelity CFD simulations, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with design and test teams to ensure robust thermal protection and reliability of Dyson

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Aerospace/Automotive/Mechanical engineering (Master's preferred).
• 5 years of experience in mechanical product analysis and development.
• Strong knowledge of fluid dynamics and thermodynamics.
• Experience with flow measurement techniques (PIV, shadowgraphy, pressure transducers).
• Proficient in Fluent/OpenFOAM and ANSA meshing.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver high quality CFD models to guide development and iterations.
• Mentor the team on CFD approaches and ensure accurate simulation models.
• Verify fluids performance with established test methodologies and develop new tests.
• Lead the fluid and thermodynamics disciplines for assigned projects from start to finish.
• Deliver high-quality outputs within timelines and align with project milestones.
• Own and sign off requirements to meet project goals.
