Dyson Institute in the Philippines is seeking an Associate Principal Engineer in Design Engineering to lead mechanical design and product integration efforts. You will collaborate with Dyson internal teams and JDM partners to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery of robust solutions and maintain high design quality across development stages.

Expect leadership in requirements management, design reviews, test planning, and design maturity assessments while mentoring teams and driving tool/process

Formación

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, Mechatronics, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of Systems Engineering and Requirements Management.
• Proven track record of taking concepts to production.
• Proficient in 3D CAD and PLM systems.
• Excellent communication with stakeholders in English.

Responsabilidades

• Promote requirements management and ensure correct implementation by partners.
• Plan, monitor, and report progress; manage scope changes with justified proposals.
• Oversee mechanical design development and integration of electrical parts.
• Drive design reviews and issue management; uphold robust engineering principles and Dyson quality standards.
• Evaluate build and test processes; document results and ensure conformity to requirements.
• Assess design maturity and guide future design cycles.
• Review Change Requests, Part Approvals or Deviations with risk/benefit analysis.
• Engage with JDM partners; develop RFIs, RFPs, and SOWs.
• Identify gaps in tools/workflows and drive improvements to processes.
