Job summary

Executive Optical, Inc. is seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to oversee daily accounting activities at its Quezon City office. The role ensures timely month-end and year-end closings and oversees financial statements preparation.

The candidate will review journal entries, conduct account reconciliations, monitor the general ledger, and ensure compliance with regulations while guiding accounting staff and driving process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy required.
• 3-5 years of supervisory experience required.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills required.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy required.
• Effective leadership and team management abilities required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software required.
• Amenable to work in Timog Avenue, Quezon City.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily general accounting activities.
• Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and ledger adjustments.
• Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing.
• Oversee preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Monitor general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits.
• Review tax-related reports and filings
• Provide guidance, training, and performance evaluation to accounting staff.
• Improve accounting processes and internal controls.
• Coordinate with other departments regarding financial concerns.
• Perform other supervisory accounting duties as assigned.
