Qualifications

• CPA with an active license.

• Hands-on BizBox Hospital Information System experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, reconciliations, and internal controls.
• Strong Excel skills with large datasets and financial schedules.
• Prior managerial experience is advantageous.
• Willing to work fully onsite in Cabuyao, Laguna.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure transactions are accurately recorded and properly supported.
• Lead and supervise the accounting team, including Supervisors and staff.
• Review transactions, reconciliations, schedules, and supporting documents for accuracy.
• Ensure timely preparation of financial and management reports.
• Monitor accounts receivable, accounts payable, billing, cashiering, collections, and related activities.
• Review and monitor hospital revenue and expense transactions and proper accounting treatment.
• Establish and maintain effective accounting controls, policies, and procedures.
• Coordinate with hospital departments regarding billing and accounting concerns.
• Provide guidance and technical support to accounting staff in resolving issues.
• Review and improve existing processes to promote efficiency and stronger internal controls.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities and reconciliations.
• Support the Finance Director with financial information and analysis.
• Monitor team performance and deliverables to meet timelines.
• Train and develop accounting personnel for technical and operational effectiveness.
• Handle other accounting and finance-related responsibilities as assigned.

The Senior Accounting Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day accounting operations of a healthcare facility, ensuring accurate financial records, timely reporting, effective internal controls, and smooth coordination across the accounting function.

The position will work closely with Finance leadership and hospital operations to ensure accounting processes are properly implemented and aligned with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations and ensure transactions are accurately recorded and properly supported.
• Lead and supervise the accounting team, including Accounting Supervisors, Assistant Accounting personnel, Cashiering, Billing, and other accounting staff.
• Review accounting transactions, reconciliations, schedules, and supporting documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure timely preparation of financial reports, management reports, and other accounting schedules.
• Monitor accounts receivable, accounts payable, billing, cashiering, collections, and other accounting-related activities.
• Review and monitor hospital revenue and expense transactions and ensure proper accounting treatment.
• Establish and maintain effective accounting controls, policies, and procedures.
• Monitor compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with other hospital departments regarding billing, collections, payments, documentation, and other accounting concerns.
• Provide guidance and technical support to accounting staff and supervisors in resolving accounting issues.
• Review and improve existing accounting processes to promote efficiency, accuracy, and stronger internal controls.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, including account reconciliations and preparation of required schedules.
• Support the Finance Director and management with financial information, analysis, and accounting-related requirements.
• Monitor team performance, workload, and deliverables to ensure accounting activities are completed within required timelines.
• Train, coach, and develop accounting personnel to strengthen technical capabilities and operational effectiveness.
• Handle other accounting and finance-related responsibilities as may be assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with an active or valid professional license.
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience in accounting or finance.
• Prior experience in the hospital, healthcare, medical center, diagnostic, or healthcare group environment is required.
• Hands-on experience using BizBox Hospital Information System is required.
• Strong working knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, reconciliations, and internal controls.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to work with large datasets, financial schedules, and reports.
• Previous managerial experience is an advantage.
• Experience supervising accounting teams and coordinating with cross-functional departments is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Good communication and people-management skills.
• Willing to work fully onsite in Cabuyao, Laguna.
