Job summary

Our Clients is seeking an experienced Hospital Accounting Manager to oversee the accounting function of a healthcare organization in Calabarzon. You will lead the accounting team, ensure accurate financial reporting, and maintain strong internal controls while managing day-to-day operations onsite.

The role requires a CPA, at least 3 years of supervisory experience in accounting, hands-on knowledge of the BizBox Hospital Information System, and proficiency in Excel and financial reporting.

Qualifications

• CPA required.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in accounting.
• Hands-on knowledge of BizBox Hospital Information System.
• Experience in hospital/healthcare accounting preferred.
• Strong Excel and financial reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the overall accounting function and daily accounting operations.
• Lead, manage, and mentor Accounting Supervisors and staff.
• Oversee Billing, Cashiering and other accounting support functions.
• Review entries, reconciliations, schedules and reports for accuracy.
• Ensure timely preparation of monthly and periodic financial statements.
• Maintain effective accounting controls, policies and procedures.
• Monitor revenue, billing, collections, and reconciliation processes.
• Coordinate with Finance leadership on accounting matters.
• Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Hospital Accounting Manager to oversee the accounting function of a healthcare organization. This position will lead the accounting team and ensure accurate financial reporting, effective internal controls, and efficient day-to-day accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the overall accounting function and daily accounting operations.
• Lead, manage, and mentor Accounting Supervisors and accounting staff.
• Oversee Billing, Cashiering, and other accounting support functions.
• Review accounting entries, reconciliations, financial schedules, and reports for accuracy.
• Ensure timely preparation of monthly and periodic financial statements.
• Establish and maintain effective accounting controls, policies, and procedures.
• Monitor hospital-related revenue, billing, collections, and reconciliation processes.
• Ensure proper and effective utilization of the BizBox Hospital Information System.
• Coordinate with Finance leadership and other departments on accounting and financial matters.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accounting efficiency and accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
• Provide guidance and support to the accounting team in resolving operational and accounting issues.

Qualifications

• CPA required.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in accounting.
• Prior managerial experience is preferred.
• Relevant experience in a hospital, healthcare, medical center, diagnostic center, or healthcare group is required.
• Hands-on knowledge of the BizBox Hospital Information System.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and financial reporting skills.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, internal controls, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Dependable, adaptable, and willing to extend working hours when business requirements call for it.
• Willing to work fully onsite in Calabarzon.
