Job summary

Osmind, a San Francisco-based technology, services, and data company focused on psychiatry, seeks a hands-on accounting leader to own the function end to end as we bring it in-house. This builder role requires GAAP-compliant financials, cross-entity consolidation across three entities, and a partnership with our VP Finance to shape processes and systems.

You'll drive the transition from outsourced to in-house, implement AI-enabled automation, and hire/train offshore accounting staff to scale

Qualifications

CPA or equivalent certification required.
8–12 years of progressive accounting/finance experience.
US GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls fluency.
Experience building or leading an accounting function at Controller level.
Hands-on, independent contributor with ability to hire and train a team.
Experience with QuickBooks Online and ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).

Responsibilities

Own month-, quarter-, and year-end close across 3 entities with GAAP-compliant reporting.
Manage intercompany transactions, allocations, and entity-level reporting.
Serve as technical accounting resource on revenue recognition and related areas.
Lead transition from outsourced to in-house accounting provider.
Design internal controls, policies, and repeatable processes for a fast-growing, multi-entity company.
Oversee cash, AP/AR, and support finance leadership with clean financials.
Drive systems and automation, including AI-enabled workflows.
Build and mentor offshore accounting staff.
