Job summary

INFINNUM, INC. is seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst in Cebu City, Philippines to support client engagements with accurate financial reporting, account analysis, and timely month-end closing.

The role will guide Accounting Analysts and coordinate with clients to ensure deliverables meet requirements. Key responsibilities include comprehensive balance sheet and P&L analyses, tax transaction reviews, and development of operational reports and dashboards.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of general accounting and financial reporting.
• Experience with tax accounting and accounting procedures.
• Experience supervising accounting work is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Execute and regularly update Agreed Upon Procedures (AUPs) and Desktop Procedures (DTPs).
• Review transactions recorded by Accounting Analysts and ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely posting.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including depreciation, amortization, accruals, payroll entries, account analysis, and adjustments.
• Perform Balance Sheet and Income Statement fluctuation/variance analysis and resolve discrepancies.
• Reconcile and monitor Balance Sheet accounts, bank accounts, Subsidiary Ledgers, and General Ledger balances.
• Prepare monthly GL schedules and Accounts Receivable/Payable aging analysis.
• Ensure transactions are properly recorded in accordance with accounting policies and applicable regulations.
• Review and ensure accurate recording of tax transactions, including VAT, Expanded Withholding Tax, and Withholding Tax on Compensation.
• Identify and resolve accounting issues and elevate concerns to the Team Leader.
• Prepare issue reports and other required operational reports and analyses.
• Support Operations Committee and account meetings through required reports and dashboards.
• Coordinate with clients regarding financial accounting reports, analysis, and other engagement requirements.
