Job summary

ibex is seeking a Senior Accountant in the Philippines to own month-end close activities, perform thorough account reconciliations, and prepare monthly financial reporting packages. The role partners with cross-functional teams to drive insightful financial analysis while upholding GAAP and internal controls, reporting to the Assistant Controller.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• Master's degree in Accounting or Business (MAcc, MBA, etc.) preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
• Minimum of 3 years in public accounting experience with month-end close & reporting responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP principles (journal entries and account reconciliations).

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close processes and support journal entries.
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial reporting packages.
• Coordinate external audits and ensure timely responses.
• Perform account reconciliations and maintain GAAP compliance.
• Drive process improvements in accounting systems and controls.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights.
