Job summary

Nowcom Global Services, LLC is seeking a Staff Accountant to support general accounting functions from home in the Philippines. The role covers month-end entries, reconciliations, and cash management with a graveyard schedule and ASAP start.

Ideal candidates have an accounting/finance degree with accounting coursework, 1 year of experience, and strong Excel/Word skills. Residing in NCR or nearby areas is preferred for this remote role.

Qualifications

• Educational background in Accounting/Finance with at least 2 accounting courses completed.
• Some Microsoft Excel experience using basic functions; bonus for advanced features.
• Can start ASAP and has 1 year of accounting experience.
• Understanding of GAAP and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare month end journal entries.
• Reconcile receivable and liability accounts.
• Reconcile bank accounts and maintain daily cash balance.
• Assist with Unclaimed Properties filings and organize documents.
• Resolve routine accounting problems and perform ad hoc duties.
