Job summary

Coins.ph, the pioneer crypto brand in the Philippines, is seeking a Merchant Acquisition Lead who will grow our merchant base and promote Coins.ph QR‑Ph compliant payments to e‑commerce stores, marketplaces and subscription services.

You will drive partnerships, deliver product demos, manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, support onboarding with tech and compliance teams, and nurture relationships to boost adoption and transaction volume.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
• 3–5 years of sales, business development, or merchant acquisition experience.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Experience with payments, FinTech, or e-commerce is a plus.

What you'll do

• Grow our merchant base. Identify and engage online merchants (e-commerce stores, marketplaces, subscription services, etc.) that can benefit from Coins.ph’s QR Ph-compliant payment solutions.
• Drive partnerships. Conduct product demos and craft proposals that show how Coins.ph can help merchants accept payments easily and securely.
• Manage the full sales cycle. From prospecting to deal closing — lead negotiations, finalize contracts, and ensure a smooth onboarding process.
• Support onboarding and activation. Help merchants integrate Coins.ph payments into their platforms, working closely with our tech and compliance teams.
• Build strong relationships. Be the main point of contact for online merchants, ensuring satisfaction, resolving issues, and helping drive their transaction growth.
• Track results and insights. Meet and exceed sales targets while sharing valuable market feedback to improve our merchant experience and product offerings.

What we expect from you

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in sales, business development, or merchant acquisition, ideally in FinTech, payments, or e-commerce.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills. You must know how to build trust and close deals.
• Organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
• Familiarity with QR Ph, payment gateways, digital wallets, or e-commerce integrations is a strong advantage.
• A team player who’s also confident working independently.
• Passionate about helping online businesses grow through digital and cashless payments.
• Ability to speak and understand Mandarin Chinese is a plus.
