SOUTHERN ARMS CORPORATION is seeking a Security Supervisor to oversee a security team in Cubao, Quezon City. This full-time role involves supervising personnel, enforcing procedures, and coordinating training to protect assets and people.

You will report to senior management, conduct risk assessments, and liaise with law enforcement when needed. The position requires 3–5 years in security and a valid security officer license, with the flexibility to cover night shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years in security operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Valid security officer license or equivalent certification.
• Strong knowledge of security systems, access control, surveillance equipment and emergency response procedures.
• Excellent leadership and personnel management skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication with the ability to prepare detailed reports.

Responsibilities

About the role

SOUTHERN ARMS CORPORATION is seeking a Security Supervisor to join our security operations team in Cubao, Quezon City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position with strategic importance to our organisation's safety and security infrastructure. As a Security Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing security personnel, implementing security protocols, and ensuring the protection of assets, personnel, and premises under your supervision. You will report directly to senior management and play a critical role in maintaining the highest standards of security and safety across our operations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate security personnel, including scheduling, training, and performance management of security officers under your direct authority
• Conduct regular patrols and inspections of assigned areas to ensure compliance with security procedures and identify potential vulnerabilities
• Respond to security incidents, emergencies, and breaches, documenting and reporting all occurrences in accordance with company protocols
• Monitor security systems, including CCTV surveillance, access control systems, and alarm systems to ensure optimal functionality
• Enforce security policies and procedures amongst all personnel and visitors to maintain a secure environment
• Conduct security briefings and inductions for new staff members and contractors
• Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain comprehensive security documentation and records
• Liaise with law enforcement and emergency services when required

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in security operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity
• Valid security officer license or equivalent professional certification required
• Strong knowledge of security systems, access control, surveillance equipment, and emergency response procedures
• Excellent leadership and personnel management skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to prepare detailed reports and documentation
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and sound decision-making skills in high-pressure situations
• Physical fitness and the ability to work flexible hours, including night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required
• Professional demeanour and strong ethical standards with unwavering commitment to confidentiality
• Knowledge of relevant security legislation and compliance requirements in the Philippines
• First Aid and CPR certification is preferred
• Experience with security management software and basic computer proficiency
