JOB SUMMARY
The Safety and Security Head is the senior leader responsible for developing and executing the comprehensive strategy to protect the company's people, assets, and reputation. This executive role provides the vision and leadership for all safety and security functions across our entire portfolio of residential communities, office buildings, retail centers, hotels, raw lands and active construction sites nationwide. You will be responsible for creating a secure and resilient environment by identifying and mitigating risks, managing security operations, and leading our crisis response efforts.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Safety and Security Planning
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve the company's enterprise-wide safety and security vision, strategy, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct regular and thorough security risk assessments (SRAs) and threat analyses for all company assets and operations.
- Establish and manage the annual budget for the Safety and Security department, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
Security Operations Management
- Oversee all physical security operations for the entire property portfolio, including management of in-house security teams and third-party security agency contracts.
- Direct the implementation and maintenance of security technologies, including CCTV surveillance, access control systems, and alarm systems.
- Ensure adequate security deployment and protocols are in place for all active construction projects to prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access.
Emergency Preparedness and Crisis Management
- Lead the development and implementation of the company's Crisis Management and Emergency Response Plans (e.g., for fire, earthquake, typhoons, civil disturbance, and security threats).
- Act as the head of the Crisis Management Team during any major incident, coordinating the response to protect lives and minimize business disruption.
- Oversee regular emergency drills and safety training for all employees and tenants.
Investigations and Intelligence
- Lead and manage investigations into all significant security incidents, such as major theft, property damage, or threats to personnel.
- Establish a network for gathering intelligence on potential threats to the company's operations and assets.
Leadership and Compliance
- Lead and develop a team of security professionals, including regional security managers and specialists.
- Ensure all security operations are compliant with relevant Philippine laws and regulations (e.g., RA 5487 - The Private Security Agency Law).
- Act as the company's primary liaison with the Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), and other relevant government and emergency service agencies.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in criminology, Security Management, or a related field. A master's degree is an advantage.
- A minimum of 15+ years of progressive experience in security management, with at least 7-10 years in a senior leadership role overseeing a large, multi-site security operation.
- Prior experience in the military or law enforcement (PNP/AFP) with a senior rank is highly desirable. Corporate security experience in the real estate or hospitality industry is a major plus.
- A Certified Security Professional (CSP) or Certified Protection Professional (CPP) designation is a significant advantage.
- Ability to develop and implement a high-level, proactive security strategy.
- Proven ability to lead effectively under high-pressure, crisis situations.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with all levels of the organization and external government agencies.
