Job summary

SOUTHERN ARMS CORPORATION is seeking a Security Supervisor to oversee a security team in Cubao, Quezon City. This full-time role involves supervising personnel, enforcing procedures, and coordinating training to protect assets and people.

You will report to senior management, conduct risk assessments, and liaise with law enforcement when needed. The position requires 3–5 years in security and a valid security officer license, with the flexibility to cover night shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years in security operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Valid security officer license or equivalent certification.
• Strong knowledge of security systems, access control, surveillance equipment and emergency response procedures.
• Excellent leadership and personnel management skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication with the ability to prepare detailed reports.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate security personnel, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
• Conduct patrols and inspections to ensure compliance and identify vulnerabilities.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies, documenting occurrences per protocols.
• Monitor CCTV, access control, and alarm systems for optimal functionality.
• Enforce policies among personnel and visitors to maintain a secure environment.
• Conduct briefings and inductions for new staff and contractors.
• Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain security documentation.
• Liaise with law enforcement and emergency services when required.
• Identify training needs and coordinate professional development for the team.
• Conduct risk assessments and recommend improvements to security measures.
