About the role

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Security Supervisor to join our team in Butuan City, Agusan del Norte. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of security and safety across our client locations. As a Security Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing security operations, managing security personnel, and maintaining a secure environment that meets our clients' expectations and regulatory requirements. This role is essential to maintaining the trust and confidence our clients place in Southern Arms Corporation.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, direct and coordinate the activities of security personnel assigned to various client locations

• Conduct regular patrols and inspections to ensure all security protocols are being followed and maintained

• Monitor security systems, CCTV footage and alarm systems to identify and respond to potential threats or breaches

• Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate security logs and documentation

• Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies and client concerns, taking appropriate action and escalating when necessary

• Conduct briefings and debriefings with security staff to communicate expectations, share information and address performance issues

• Implement and enforce security policies and procedures across all assigned areas

• Train and mentor security personnel on proper security protocols, customer service and emergency response procedures

• Communicate regularly with clients to understand their security needs and ensure satisfaction with our services

• Manage security equipment inventory and ensure all tools and materials are maintained in proper working condition

What we're looking for

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in security operations or a supervisory role within the security industry

• Strong knowledge of security protocols, procedures and best practices in the Trades & Services sector

• Proven leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate, train and manage security teams effectively

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for reporting and client interaction

• Physical fitness and the ability to perform regular patrols and inspections across various environments

• Sound judgment and the ability to respond calmly and professionally to security incidents and emergencies

• Proficiency in using security systems, monitoring equipment and documentation tools

• Valid security license or certification as required by Philippine regulations

• Ability to work flexible hours, including night shifts, weekends and on-call availability as needed

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining meticulous security records

• Preferably with experience in client relations and delivering exceptional customer service
