Job summary

PNB Holdings Corporation is seeking a Safety and Security professional to oversee overall safety, security, and protection of personnel, tenants, visitors, assets, and facilities across multiple sites in Metro Manila. The role requires enforcing safety protocols, security procedures, and emergency response measures.

The incumbent must be willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, holidays, and be on-call 24/7, including during emergencies, and will lead investigations, risk assessments,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Criminology, Security Administration, Occupational Safety & Health, or related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in safety and security management.
• Licensed Security Practitioner by SOSIA.
• Certified Safety Officer 2 by DOLE (preferred).
• Certified Security Professional (CSP) or equivalent certification.
• Knowledge of Philippine laws and regulations relating to safety, security and emergency response (RA 11058, RA 11917).
• Familiarity with CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.
• Experience in multi-site property, commercial, or facility management.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, monitors, and coordinates daily safety & security operations across all assigned properties/sites.
• Enforces safety and security policies and procedures to protect company interests.
• Identifies risks, conducts risk assessments, and implements mitigation measures.
• Implements measures to deter and prevent breaches, accidents, and hazards.
• Investigates security incidents and provides detailed reports.
• Provides safety and security training to employees and promotes a culture of safety.
• Collaborates with other departments, law enforcement, and emergency services.
• Conducts inspections and audits, addressing non-conformances.
• Creates and maintains an Emergency Response Team for emergencies.
• Ensures compliance with safety and security regulations and best practices.

Job description

The Safety and Security will be responsible for the overall safety, security, and protection of personnel, tenants, visitors, assets, and facilities across multiple assigned sites. The incumbent shall enforce all safety protocols, security procedures, and emergency response measures, and must be fully willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, holidays, and respond on‑call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including during emergencies.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervises, monitors, and coordinates daily safety & security operations across all assigned properties / sites.
• Enforces safety and security policies and procedures to maintain order and protect the company’s interests.
• Identifies potential security and safety risks, conducts risk assessments, and implements measures to mitigate those risks.
• Implements measures to proactively deter and prevent security breaches, accidents, and safety hazards.
• Conducts thorough investigation into security breaches, thefts, accidents, and other incidents, and providing detailed reports as necessary.
• Provides safety and security awareness training to employees and promoting a culture of safety and security within the organization.
• Collaborates with other department or staff members, law enforcement, emergency services, and relevant stakeholders to address safety and security issues effectively.
• Periodically conducts safety and security inspections and audits throughout the facilities and improves the non-conformance findings to prevent security breach, injury/illness, accident or other non-compliance issues.
• Takes responsibility in creating and maintaining an Emergency Response Team capable of responding effectively to emergencies such as medical incidents, fires, natural disasters, and security breaches.
• Ensures compliance with relevant safety and security regulations, standards and best practices.

Other tasks

• Ensures regulatory compliance of the company by submitting DOLE’s reportorial requirements such as WAIR, AEDR, AMR, RKS, etc.
• Identifies potential safety and security manpower/equipment vendors, evaluating their capabilities and makes recommendations which vendors to engage with based on criteria such as quality, price, reliability, and service.
• Monitors the performance of safety and security manpower vendors against predefined key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure that they are meeting their obligations and delivering the expected level of service.
• Performs other duties as may be assigned by the Safety and Security Head.

JOB PROFILE

Educational Background

• Must be a graduate of Bachelor’s degree in Criminology, Security Administration, Occupational Safety & Health, or related field (or equivalent relevant experience)

Professional Background

• Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in safety and security management
• Must have a licensed Security Practitioner by SOSIA
• Preferably a certified Safety Officer 2 by DOLE.
• Must be a Certified Security Professional (CSP) or equivalent Security Industry related certification

Knowledge Requirements

• Must have a working knowledge of relevant Philippine laws and regulations pertaining to safety, security and emergency response management. This includes familiarity with Republic Act 11058 and Republic Act 11917.
• Must have a comprehensive understanding of safety and security protocols and practices, including risk assessment, hazard identification, emergency response procedures, fire safety, first aid, and crowd control.
• Familiarity with security technologies such as closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems, access control systems, and alarm systems.
• Must have in-depth knowledge of investigative techniques, evidence preservation, and report writing to conduct investigations into safety or security incidents as needed.
• Proven experience in preparing, conducting and reporting investigations and interviews.
• Proven experience as a Safety & Security Officer, preferably in multi‑site property, commercial, or facility management setting.
